Neighbor-to-Neighbor Team

Team Mission - The Neighbor-to-Neighbor Team organizes and deploys a network of church members, distributed throughout Bowie and Crofton neighborhoods, to routinely contact church families in order to understand their personal, health, and social interests and potential needs for assistance. Neighborhood Callers, the key neighborhood team members, compile these needs for assistance and social interests, and pass them on to church leaders, including the Disaster Response Program. St. Matthew’s may use this information to plan new or modify existing church activities and services. The Disaster Response Program will use the information to plan assistance to those whose needs may be exacerbated by family or community emergency.
