Our group meets the 3rd Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in Room 222 at St. Matthew's.  We invite all to join us including people not members of St. Matthew's.

Our aim is to promote events and information that contribute to the health of the earth, and to encourage our elected leaders to enact legislation that’s environmentally friendly.

Books and articles are available to borrow and handouts will be available outside St. Matthew's Fellowship Hall between services most Sundays. 

Our regularly scheduled meetings will include in-depth presentations on energy conservation, water conservation, spring planting and lawns, saving trees, saving paper.

Additional events  We expect to present or participate in or support include:  speaker from Chesapeake Bay Foundation, tour of Chesapeake Foundation Green Building, tour of Quaker School in Berwyn Heights – also Green, tour of the new Prince George's County recycle facility,  Earth Day Celebration with native plant sale, Bowie Stream Team activities including, cleaning streams, testing water, riparian planting.
