Every year St. Matthew's senior high youth group does a week long mission project. In 2006, we traveled to Summer's County, West Virginia to work with the Appalachia Service Project. Twenty people, six adults and 14 youth, formed three teams that spent the week working on four different homes that were in need of repair. Lots of work was accomplished and many new friendships were formed.
